Problem
I regularly need small video jobs done: cut the silences out of a recording, pull the audio, shrink a file, make a GIF. Desktop tools are heavy, and online tools want your files.
What I built
- Silence removal, audio extraction, compression, GIF creation and trimming, powered by FFmpeg running in the browser.
- Transcripts generated in the browser with Whisper (
tiny.enandbase.en). - Everything runs client-side, so files never leave the device. The honest trade-off: it won’t match a native app’s speed.
Built as a capstone for Ed Donner’s AI Coder: Claude Code & Coding Agents course, using agentic engineering workflows throughout.
